Sybille lived in Italy for over 15 years, so it is mainly on Eva's visits and travels that she creates (mostly) watercolours that directly reflect the light, the colours and the mood of the moments – with a mixture of delicacy and expression. The works show mainly northern Italy and the Italian west coast - especially Capri and Ischia – as well as Spanish, French and Greek landscapes from the 1950s to the 1980s. During these years, Sybille was still working as an actress. However, her first works were also created in Italy. The love for the Mediterranean and the passion for sailing now brings Eva's grandson and Sybille's son Nikolas back to these places on his travels almost 50 years later.
